Deborah Dalziel

Practitioner  &  Master
  • Usui Reiki Ryoho

Hello, my name is Deborah and most people know me as Deb. I absolutely love Reiki and teach Usui Reiki Ryoho. I follow a traditional Japanese teaching of Reiki under the teachings of Frans Stiene. Reiki for me is a life long practice.

I offer Reiki Treatments and Reiki Courses for Adults and Children. I also teach Animal Reiki and am Certified by Shelter Animal Reiki Association to run their programs here in Australia.

I have a student development program that will be commencing shortly that supports people who have studied Reiki so their practice may grow. I also teach Meditation Classes and offer Coaching for Well-Being.

A little about me and my heart, I love the outdoors, photography and art - being with friends and family including getting time with my adorable nieces. I volunteer at Guide Dogs Victoria and support Women in Spiritual Practice through sponsorship programs.

In addition to my public courses I run profession in-house programs for small businesses and educational settings, Yoga teachers and other wellbeing professions who hold space for their clients and need to support themselves.

Key accreditations that underpin my personal learning journey in addition to Reiki are below and you can view others on my website.
Bachelor of Education ; Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training ; Master NLP Practitioner ; Certificate in Children's Meditation.

If you want to find out more do get in touch via this site, or pop to my website and explore and also join the MRC Reiki Tribe on Facebook and Instagram.

My Journey

My first experience of Reiki was in Borneo in my 20s. I began learning Reiki formally quite some time later in 2009 and from there fell in love with the practice from a mind and body well-being journey for myself.

At my time of learning Reiki I was an Executive Coach and Strategic Facilitator and Trainer running my own business working with clients across the Corporate, State & Local Government & Not-for Profit businesses. The practice was so helpful in grounding myself and bringing my true essence and presence into each client event.

As my experience with Reiki grew so too did my love for it and I then opened Melbourne Reiki Centre in 2012. That was 5 years ago and I feel blessed everyday with the wonderful people I meet and connect with.

My Vision

My vision is that Reiki is accessible to all who are interested, that it is engaging and always remains relevant. I dream that Reiki as a modality is as thought about as often for healing as massage or yoga and becomes known as a treatment we can do for ourselves, or by a practitioner to maintain our wellness, as well as heal and support us when we are unwell.

I want it to be known as a professional practice that embodies the spiritual practice.
