Working in high pressure jobs has led me to searching for various mind body modalities that would help me cope. This search has led me to Reiki, Yoga and meditation. These three modalities have had a huge impact on my life, not only physically but also mentally and spiritually. However, the affect of Reiki has been the most profound out of the three. Reiki practice has led to me to find some clarity, stillness and well-being as well as the ability to let go of what no longer serves me.

My Journey

I have studied both western and eastern Reiki styles. Komyo Reiki is the style I practice and also teach. Hyakuten Inamoto, Komyo ReikiDo (formerly Komyo Reiki Kai) Japan, has inspired me to teach his system to all who are interested, regardless of lineage. I love the simplicity and the profound teachings of Komyo ReikiDo that not only deals with the physical but also the spiritual that underpins our health and well-being. A Reiki system that was founded and bred in Japan, a complete system for mind and body, easy to learn with no other additions that some western Reiki systems incorporate. I believe in this system of Reiki, so much so that I created Komyo ReikiDo Australia to support all Komyo practitioners and teachers as well as the lead organiser of Hyakuten Inamoto's seminars in Australia.

My Vision

I would not be able to express enough how Reiki has enhanced my life. My practice has deepened my sense of calmness and sense of connection. It has become a lifestyle of continual spiritual practice where my situation in life has less of a negative impact. I would love to spread the benefits of Reiki to all, through Reiki treatments and also Komyo ReikiDo training, whether you are a beginner or a Reiki channel from another lineage.
