Reiki Australia is a national not-for-profit membership association supporting Reiki as a spiritual practice and a healing art. We’re here to strengthen integrity, professionalism, and public trust in Reiki — while honouring the diversity of practices that trace back to the teachings of Mikao Usui.

To be a trusted resource for the personal, professional, and community expression of wellbeing through Reiki — embracing students, masters, teachers, and treatment practitioners.

To be Australia’s leading ethical and professional Reiki membership association — maintaining an authentic influence in promoting wellbeing through Reiki as a spiritual practice and healing art, welcoming diverse practices from the teachings of Mikao Usui, and supporting wellness and self-care.

    Brings: Two decades of living Reiki with humility, presence, integrity, and a strong community-building heart. 
    Why RA: To protect Reiki’s depth while supporting many lineages and strengthening respect for Reiki across Australia.

    Director (Secretary)
    Naremburn, NSW


    Brings: A practical, structured, heart-led approach shaped by a background in HR and project-style thinking. 
    Why RA: To help Reiki grow as a respected and accessible modality and support strong professional foundations for practitioners.

    Brings: Enthusiasm, creative thinking, and broad experience across retail, hospitality, and healthcare, plus long-term volunteer service.

    Brings: A disability-focused background with decades of youth/disability and banking experience, plus Reiki Master practice and mentoring strengths.

    Brings: 18 years with Reiki, an education/leadership background, and a commitment to ethical standards, communication, and community-building.

    Brings: 10+ years teaching/using Usui Reiki, plus a registered nursing background and complementary modalities experience.

Message from the Chair

Hello and welcome — and a warm welcome to our Board of Directors for 2025–2026.

My name is Maja Jadrijevic, and as of 25 October 2025 I step into the role of Chair of Reiki Australia. I offer my sincere thanks to Carol Macrae for her steady, generous leadership over many years.

Reiki has been at the centre of my life for more than twenty years. The way I lead is practical, compassionate, and community-minded. I hold Reiki Australia as a professional home with a warm heart: strong in standards, grounded in lineage, and welcoming in culture.

Our aim is clear: to strengthen this community and widen our reach, so more people can experience Reiki’s support in their lives.
