ADVERTISER TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reiki Australia Advertising Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance
By purchasing an advertising package or submitting advertising materials, the Advertiser agrees to be bound by these Advertising Terms and Conditions.
2. Advertising Services
2.1 Reiki Australia agrees to provide the advertising services included in the package purchased by the Advertiser.
2.2 Package inclusions, publication frequency and campaign duration are determined by the package selected at the time of purchase.
2.3 Reiki Australia does not guarantee any specific level of engagement, enquiries, bookings, sales or other results from the advertising.
3. Advertiser Obligations
The Advertiser confirms that:
a) All information provided is accurate, current and not misleading.
b) The advertising complies with all applicable laws, regulations and professional requirements.
c) Any statements or claims made in the advertising can be substantiated upon request.
d) The Advertiser holds all licences, qualifications, permissions and approvals required to provide the advertised services.
e) The Advertiser owns or has permission to use all submitted text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos and other materials.
f) The advertising does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person or organisation.
g) All links, dates, prices, contact details and booking information have been checked before submission.
4. Advertising Materials
4.1 The Advertiser must provide all materials required for their selected advertising package.
Social media materials
4.2 For each promotional social media post, the Advertiser must provide:
a) One completed, publication-ready Instagram tile in one of the following formats:
1080 × 1350 px vertical format (4:5); or
1080 × 1080 px square format (1:1)
b) Final caption text, ready for publication.
c) The correct website, event or booking link.
d) The Instagram handle to be tagged or invited as a collaborator.
e) Any additional relevant contact or booking information.
4.3 For multi-post packages, a separate tile, caption and relevant link must be supplied for each post.
4.4 For Reel or vertical video content, the Advertiser must provide:
a) Video sized at 1080 × 1920 px (9:16).
b) The completed video in MP4 or MOV format.
c) Final accompanying caption text.
d) The correct website, event or booking link.
e) The Instagram handle to be tagged or invited as a collaborator.
Newsletter materials
4.5 Where newsletter inclusion forms part of the selected package, the Advertiser must provide final, publication-ready newsletter content, including:
a) Heading.
b) Body text.
c) A clear call to action.
d) Website, event or booking links.
e) Relevant dates and times.
f) Prices.
g) Contact details.
h) Booking information.
i) Any accompanying logo or image.
Submission requirements
4.6 All advertising materials must be:
a) Complete and publication-ready.
b) Accurate and fully proofread.
c) Supplied in the required sizes and formats.
d) Submitted by the requested deadline.
e) Clearly labelled when multiple posts or files are included.
4.7 The Advertiser is responsible for checking all names, dates, times, prices, links, spelling and contact information before submission.
4.8 Reiki Australia is not responsible for creating, writing, designing, editing, resizing, proofreading or correcting advertising materials unless this service has been expressly included in the selected package or agreed to in writing.
4.9 Incomplete, incorrect or late materials may delay or require rescheduling of the advertising campaign.
5. Approval and Discretion
5.1 All advertising is subject to approval by Reiki Australia.
5.2 Reiki Australia reserves the right to:
a) Reject or remove advertising at its discretion.
b) Request changes before publication.
c) Decline material that is inconsistent with Reiki Australia’s values, professional standards or purpose.
d) Suspend or reschedule a campaign where reasonably required.
e) Refuse advertising that may create legal, regulatory, professional or reputational risk.
5.3 Acceptance of payment does not guarantee publication if the advertising does not meet these Terms and Conditions.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Payment must be made in full before publication unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 The advertising services provided will be limited to the inclusions of the package purchased.
6.3 Fees are non-refundable except at the discretion of Reiki Australia or where required by Australian Consumer Law.
6.4 Additional advertising services requested outside the selected package may incur an additional fee.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
7.1 The Advertiser may request cancellation in writing.
7.2 Refund requests will be assessed individually and are not guaranteed.
7.3 No refund will be provided for advertising that has already been approved, scheduled or published, except where required by law.
7.4 Any costs already incurred by Reiki Australia in preparing or scheduling the advertising may be deducted from an approved refund.
8. Scheduling and Publication
8.1 Preferred publication dates may be requested but are subject to availability and confirmation by Reiki Australia.
8.2 Advertising cannot be scheduled until all required materials and payment have been received.
8.3 Reiki Australia may adjust publication dates where reasonably required due to scheduling, operational, technical or unforeseen circumstances.
8.4 Reiki Australia will make reasonable efforts to notify the Advertiser of any significant scheduling changes.
8.5 Delays caused by incomplete, incorrect or late materials supplied by the Advertiser are the responsibility of the Advertiser.
9. Collaborative Social Media Posts
9.1 Where a collaborative Instagram post is included, the Advertiser must provide the correct Instagram handle.
9.2 The Advertiser is responsible for ensuring that their Instagram account can receive collaboration invitations.
9.3 The Advertiser must accept the collaboration invitation for the post to appear on their profile.
9.4 Reiki Australia is not responsible if the Advertiser does not receive or accept the invitation, has incompatible account settings or provides an incorrect Instagram handle.
10. Liability
10.1 To the extent permitted by law, Reiki Australia is not liable for:
a) Indirect or consequential loss.
b) Loss of income, revenue, business, opportunity or reputation.
c) Errors contained in materials supplied by the Advertiser.
d) Broken, incorrect or expired links supplied by the Advertiser.
e) Changes made by social media platforms, email providers or other third-party services.
f) Any failure by the advertising to achieve a particular result.
10.2 The Advertiser indemnifies Reiki Australia against claims, losses, damages, liabilities or expenses arising from:
a) The Advertiser’s advertising.
b) False, misleading or unsubstantiated claims.
c) Breach of these Terms and Conditions.
d) Infringement of intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
e) Failure to comply with applicable laws or professional requirements.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 The Advertiser retains ownership of the advertising materials they provide.
11.2 The Advertiser grants Reiki Australia a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, publish, display and distribute the submitted materials for the purpose of delivering the purchased advertising services.
11.3 The Advertiser confirms that they own or have permission to use all submitted materials.
11.4 Reiki Australia may retain published advertising within its social media feeds, newsletters, website archives or other historical records after the campaign has ended.
12. Compliance
12.1 The Advertiser is responsible for ensuring that their advertising complies with all applicable laws, regulations, codes and professional guidelines, including where relevant:
a) Australian Consumer Law.
b) Therapeutic Goods Administration advertising requirements.
c) Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency guidelines.
d) Privacy and intellectual property laws.
e) Any professional standards or codes applying to the Advertiser or the advertised service.
12.2 Advertising must not contain false, misleading, deceptive or unsubstantiated statements.
12.3 Health, wellbeing or therapeutic advertising must not guarantee outcomes or make claims that cannot be supported.
13. Termination
Reiki Australia may suspend or terminate advertising:
a) If the Advertiser breaches these Terms and Conditions.
b) If the advertising creates a legal, regulatory, professional or reputational risk.
c) If the Advertiser fails to provide complete and suitable materials.
d) If Reiki Australia reasonably determines that publication would be inconsistent with its values, standards or purpose.
e) Where Reiki Australia is otherwise entitled to do so under applicable law.
14. Privacy
14.1 Personal information will be handled in accordance with Reiki Australia’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.
14.2 Information supplied by the Advertiser may be used to administer, publish and communicate about the advertising campaign.
15. Amendments
15.1 Reiki Australia may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
15.2 Updated Terms and Conditions will apply to future advertising purchases.
15.3 The Terms accepted at the time of purchase will apply to the advertising package purchased at that time unless otherwise agreed in writing.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable State or Territory in which Reiki Australia is registered.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the selected advertising package details and any written agreement between Reiki Australia and the Advertiser, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the advertising services.
