Professional Development for Reiki Treatment
Terms and Conditions
The Certificate in Professional Development for Reiki Treatment is offered by Reiki Australia to support Reiki practitioners who provide, or wish to provide, professional Reiki treatment services to the public.
The certificate program comprises six units of study, with a bonus unit provided upon completion of all six units.
Each unit is designed to be completed by distance education / home study.
Unit 1 — Codes of Ethics & Codes of Conduct is the required starting point for all students. Once Unit 1 has been completed, the remaining units may be completed in any order.
Study Window
Each Professional Development unit has an 8-week study window from the date of purchase.
Students are responsible for completing the unit within this 8-week period, unless an extension or enrolment hold has been approved by Reiki Australia.
The program is self-paced, with no fixed course dates printed in the learner resources. This allows each student to begin from their own purchase date.
Course Fees
Students are required to pay the applicable fee for each unit, or the full bundle fee, before access to course materials is provided and study commences.
Access to course materials is provided after purchase through the relevant Start Here PDF and linked learner resources.
Course Materials
Course materials are provided for the personal study and professional development of the enrolled student only.
Students agree not to copy, share, reproduce, distribute, sell, or use Reiki Australia course materials for teaching or training purposes without written permission from Reiki Australia.
Course materials have been developed by Reiki Australia through significant volunteer contribution and are to be respected as Reiki Australia educational resources.
Facilitator Support and Assessment
Each unit may include reading, reflection, activities, and written assessment.
Students are required to complete the learning activities and submit assessment work as instructed in the unit materials.
Completed assessment work will be submitted to the allocated Facilitator for review.
A Facilitator will be allocated to assist with student queries and mark assessment work. Facilitator details will be provided by email within 72 hours of purchase.
Completion is based on engagement with the learner resources and submission of the required assessment tasks.
Refund Policy
Withdrawal within 24 hours of purchase
If a student withdraws from a unit or course within 24 hours of purchase, a full refund of fees paid will be issued.
Withdrawal after course materials have been provided
If a student withdraws after course materials have been supplied, but before submitting any assessment tasks, 50% of the fees paid will be refunded.
This amount is intended to cover administrative and resource costs associated with the provision of course materials and services.
Withdrawal after assessment submission
No refunds will be issued once assessment tasks have been submitted for a unit.
Submission of assessment tasks indicates participation in, and use of, the educational services provided.
Illness or Extenuating Circumstances
If a student is unable to complete a unit due to illness or other extenuating circumstances, they may submit a written request to place their enrolment on hold for a period of up to six months.
The student must notify Reiki Australia in writing and provide appropriate supporting documentation.
Approval of an enrolment hold is at the discretion of Reiki Australia.
Where an enrolment hold is approved:
The student will be permitted to recommence their studies within six months of the original purchase date.
A recommencement fee may apply to cover administrative costs associated with reactivating the enrolment and providing continued access to course resources.
If the student does not recommence within the approved six-month period, the enrolment may be deemed withdrawn and the unit or course forfeited.
Re-enrolment
Students who withdraw and later wish to recommence their studies after six months, or who fail to complete a unit and later choose to re-enrol, will be required to pay the full unit fee applicable at the time of re-enrolment.
Bonus Unit
Students who complete all six Professional Development for Reiki Treatment units will receive access to the bonus unit: Promoting Your Reiki Treatment Business.
The bonus unit is provided only after completion of all six required units.
Agreement
By purchasing a Professional Development unit or bundle, accessing the learner resources, or submitting the 8-Week Professional Development Unit Agreement, students confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
