True Healing is a Return to Wholeness
When we speak of “healing,” most people think of fixing something that’s broken, mending wounds, or curing illness. But true healing is something far deeper than the physical- it’s a return to wholeness. It is remembering who we are beyond our pain, our stories, and our limitations. Healing is not simply the absence of symptoms; it is the presence of harmony in mind, body, and spirit.
When we have been doing “spirutual work” we may think “oh I don’t get angry” but in most cases we are in denisl. We get so good at supressing our emotiobs in order to not have to feel the bad feelings that we disconnect to numb the pain. This is why unresolved emotions can lead to physical illness abd dis-ease.
We only feel the good feelings because they are safe. So we and push down the anger or sadness, but this never works long term. The soul is always urging us to heal, and it wilm keep tapping at us to we are ready to deal with our trauma or oaon body, but in order to heal it you have to feel it!
So often, we search outside of ourselves for the answer, hoping someone else can heal us. But real transformation is a partnership. It unfolds when we are willing to look within, to sit with ourselves, and to allow the light of love and awareness to flow into the places that feel most hidden or wounded. The shadow self.
The Many Paths to Healing
There are many doorways into healing, and each of us will be called to the one that feels right for our soul’s journey.
5-PATH® Hypnosis
Works with the Subconscious mind and gently guides us to the root causes of our struggles, helping us release old programming, emotional pain, and beliefs that no longer serve us. It doesn’t just address surface issues, it helps us reconnect to our truth, rewriting the inner story so we can live with freedom and clarity. It helps us release the anger, moved through forgiveness and come back to inner peace.
Reiki
Channels universal life energy, dissolving blocks and restoring balance. It is a reminder that we are more than our bodies—we are luminous beings, and when our energy flows freely, we naturally align with peace and vitality.
Breathwork
Awakens what lies dormant within us. The breath is life itself, a bridge between body and spirit. By breathing consciously, we can release trauma stored in the body, expand awareness, and connect to higher states of consciousness.
Shadow Work
Is about shining light on the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden or denied- our fears, our shame, our anger, our pain. Rather than pushing them away, we welcome them with compassion, so they can transform. Shadow work teaches us that our “dark” is not bad- it holds treasures, insights, and strength waiting to be reclaimed.shaddow work is also a part of tgd eork we do in 5-PATH® Hypnosis, but can also be done in a seperate session, such as the Sekhem All Love Work I do.
Meditation and Mindfulness
Invite us into stillness, helping us witness our thoughts and feelings without being consumed by them. With practice, we come to see that we are not our pain- we are the awareness that holds it. And with consistency we can use mecitation to bring us to awakening and inner peace snd stillness, to transcend limitations and pain.
Movement and Expression
Through yoga, qigong, dance, sound healing, journaling, art, or time in nature can also be deeply healing. These practices reconnect us with flow, joy, and the sacred rhythm of life.
Other Pathways
Sound healing, journaling, creative expression, and time in nature can also be powerful medicines, bringing us back into balance and reminding us of the beauty and sacredness of life.
True healing isn’t limited to one modality, it is the weaving together of different practices that support our unique journey, and finding a qualified and experienced practitioner can often be the key to helping you to heal in every level.
Healing is Remembering Love
At its essence, all healing leads us back to love- love for ourselves, for others, and for the life we are living. When we soften our hearts, forgive ourselves, and others, and release the burden of old wounds, we create space for joy, connection, and authenticity.
Simple Tools for Your Healing Journey
It all starts with YOU! While working with a practitioner can be life-changing, there are also gentle ways you can support your own healing each day:
Start with the Breath
Take a few minutes each day to close your eyes and breathe deeply into your belly. As you exhale, imagine letting go of stress and tension.
Practice Self-Reiki or Hand-to-Heart Connection
Simply place your hands over your heart and breathe love into yourself. This act of self-kindness is powerful medicine. Say to yoursel “I am safe, I am whole, I am loved.”
Journal your Feelings and Your Shadow
Allow your pen to move freely without judgment. Sometimes the act of giving our emotions a voice brings relief and clarity.
Move Your Body
Stretch, walk barefoot on the earth, dance in your living room. Movement clears stagnant energy and awakens joy.
Affirm Your Wholeness
Each morning, look into the mirror and remind yourself: “I am whole. I am worthy. I am love.”
Rest or Sit in Stillness
Even a few minutes of quiet can reconnect you to your centre and the greater flow of life. It
can remind you of the deeper peace that’s always within you.
Coming Home to Yourself
True healing is not about perfection. It’s not about erasing the past. It’s about integration- welcoming every part of ourselves into the circle of love. It’s about becoming someone new, it’s about coming home to the truth of who you already are. Whole. Radiant. Loved.
When we embrace practices like hypnosis, Reiki, breathwork, shadow work, meditation, or simply pausing to breathe, we discover that nothing was ever “wrong” with us. We were never broken.
We are simply remembering who we are: whole, radiant, and deeply loved. When we love ourselves, we let that shine out into the world and start living from a plave of gratitude.
And that, to me, is what true healing is all about.
